Everyone seems gaga about OK Go thanks to their jaw-dropping videos but have you ever just listened to the music? Not so jaw-dropping.
Word, I saw them headline a huge festival in Albany, NY this past May and I give them props for their videos, but the music itself is meh. And their live music is meh-er. I was completely unfamiliar with their music when I went to the festival, and I actually walked away thinking that my ear didn’t even remember ONE chorus in ANY of their songs.
Your eyes are not your ears, and vice versa. Lather, rinse, repeat.
