Games of Nonchalance →
So when I lived in SF among the many fun things I did was THIS.  I loved it so much that I recommended it to everyone, and when people came to visit me, I would even make them go while I went off and did something.  It’s a really eye-opening and interesting way to see San Francisco, and it sure as hell beats being a tourist in San Francisco (in one of those hokey sweatshirts that you bought...

GroupMe →
joelaz: A simple SMS text messaging service for groups. I’ve been looking for something like this for music festivals and other times where it’s useful to text a group of friends and allow everyone to “reply all”. I previously tried Textmarks. This looks much better.

Sometimes
I think to myself that I should just throw all this schooling away and be one of those black-clad chicks that works at Sephora.  What is so great about them is that they get to make ladies feel beautiful all day.  That’s something every lady needs.

Why is it OK for Floyd Mayweather to be a racist? →
I still think that people in general think it is OK to be racist towards Asians.  Maybe it’s because we’re not vocal enough when someone rips on us.  I get really fucking fed up sometimes.  If anyone else called Floyd Mayweather along the lines of what he called Manny Pacquiao, that would have soooo much media airtime it would be ridiculous.

Classically Trained Musician Weighs in on Metal... →
utnereader: Choice quote, on Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden: He achieves an intensely rhythmic delivery of the lyrics without losing legato and musical momentum, something a lot of classical singers struggle with, especially when interpreting the many staccato and accent markings that crowd scores by Bellini, Donizetti, etc. I love Bruce Dickinson and mostly agree with everything the writer...
