About Me, Glenda

I'm a lover and a fighter; a big city girl with a small town heart. Or maybe it's the other way around.

Allow me to readily admit my embarrassment upon the discovery of a hokey astrology thing on the web that broke down my character based on my birthday. I don't know if I thought it was true, but I actually thought that it was the most concise way to describe me for some reason or another. So there it is.

I grew up in and just north of New York City, save for the many years I spent in the San Francisco Bay Area and my college years in upstate New York. I now work at the intersection of technology and online media as a Systems Architect, and go to graduate school for information technology management back here in NYC.

This site serves as a digital scrapbook for me, where I collect odds n' ends and various bits o' binary information I find floating around in the ether — entirely experimental, slapdash, and not meant to be complete or coherent.

Sometimes, I'll whip out my trusty Android phone and share something as I'm experiencing it because, let's face it — messing around with technology for no reason other than the fact that it's there, is tops.

In my ideal universe, I'd probably be the first to get a dog, move to the Adirondacks, buy a kayak and sit around in a lakehouse — where I'd do nothing but eat grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup, play guitar, whiffle ball, roll around in leaves, stomp around in rainboots, read newsprint, drink root beer, and throw sick parties under the stars. Oh — and, just so you know, in this figurative lakehouse it'd be only autumn and spring all year-round.

If you'd like to know anything else, just ask.
